5.0 out of 5 stars Great Water Pump, September 28, 2007
By
This pump does all it says it will. I have one that just had the shaft seal go after 16 years and I am buying another one. It primes quite easy. You have to provide your own wires to plug it in, which is a 15 minute job. I use it daily in the summer, and run it between 8-12 hours per day....so this pump/motor will hold up. It is rebuidlable, and I will do that, but am buying another because it is quicker and am not sure of extent of items that are wore out

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, July 23, 2010

This review is from: Wayne WLS150 1-1/2-Horsepower Cast Iron Lawn Sprinkling Pump (Tools & Home Improvement)
This pump works just as advertized. Has 230/115V comes set for 230 but to change to 115 just pull out on a switch and turn to 115. No rewiring the lugs to change the voltage. A good buy for the money. I have 6 sprinkler heads 0n it and they are up hill and it puts out good pressure. Some one said it needs to be in side. I just bent a peice of tin and folded it over the motor and that works fine. Mine sets outside on the lake and been thru several thunder storms and no problems.

4.0 out of 5 stars More Than Just A Lawn Sprinkling Pump, August 29, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
We have had this pump for about two months now. We upgraded from a 1 1/2 hp pump. We use to irrigate 15 acres which include grass, an orchard, and a 175 vine vineyard. It handles all of it very well. We would have given a 5 star rating but for the fact that it was poorly packaged for shipment and arrived with the plastic end cap broken off. We needed to install it immediately so we used a little electrical tape to reattach it. it has been working perfectly.
